You can use other direct-transfer methods as well (depending on your country). For us Germans there's some "instant bank transfer" that is as safe as PayPal since I could cancel their debit on my bank account.
Have you contact Steam Support regarding this?
Yeah i may have to just use my credit card directly if i cant get this sorted
I have my PayPal infomation saved to my account so i dont actually get redirected to their website. I would contact steam support but from my last 3 - 4 issues ive had with steam, they have never replied or got it sorted and the people on the forums have helped me much more than they have.
It's one of those topics that "nobody is responsible for". Steam will send you to PayPal and other way around. Just gotta adapt and live with it. It's not only Steam PayPal is failing with but other big, serious internet stores as well.
