Invalid Installation Path error every time I try and install game
I bought E.Y.E. on the sale recently and every time I try to install it an error immediately pops up and says "An error occurred installing E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy (Invalid Installation Path)" I had an old copy on my computer so I deleted it and cleared out all the reg keys for it, and it didn't work. I also made a new steam games folder on both my desktop and at my C:'s root and tried to install it to there and it still didn't work. I even did a patch i saw online where you create the game's folder in steamapps common manually and make the .acf and appid.txt for the game and still nothing. I have no idea how to fix this and the support forum for E.Y.E. isn't much help so i'd appreciate any solution here.

Still can't get it installed and steam support only points me to the game company's support email
