Far Cry Franchise Pack 63%: Buy or Wait ?

This is my first steam sale, Is there any chance of this collection with all far cry games getting more discount or should i buy it right now?

My guess is it is unlikely to go down further. FC2 is a great game. Fc3 was meh, but worth playing.

Franchise packs never go for any less. You could try and cherry pick flash sales, if you really want.

Edit: Just get the franchise pack, it's a pretty good deal.

This is the first Ubisoft game i'm buying that uses uplay, if i see that uplay is really that bad, i'll think twice before buying another game from them.

So you still need to install Uplay to run the games included in this package? Doesn't Steam serve the same purpose?

Any opinion whether I should purchase this if I already have FC1 (on a CD, purchased years ago) and FC3:BD (which I received with an AMD card)? I haven't played either yet...

Edit: The user reviews of FC2 are terrible, so I guess I'll skip this pack. I'll play the games that I already own and if I like them I'll just get FC3 when it's on sale.

It's really not that bad. It's not jammed pack with useless crap like Far Cry 3 is, but it's a solid shooter and it looks gorgeous.

The users were idiots to whom the story was too complex and the checkpoints were too hard for them. FC3 sucked balls compared to FC2.

I never played Far Cry 1 but trust me - FC2 & FC3 are definitely worth it. Finished FC3 not FC2 (maybe like 70%) - Not only the quality of entire game artworks (because lots game now have HQG), but the lore, the feeling of GTA but not like roarming in the city only - you're in the JUNGLE (FC3, part of FC2). Personally cannot wait for FC4 coming
