What to do with summer adventure foil card

Hi guys! I'm not new to Steam, but I did just get my first foil card ever, and it turns out to be a Summer Adventure card. Any ideas on what to do with this? I know that actually crafting the foil badge would simply take forever. The market value is around $2 (wow, I lose more than that just by taking the time to write this), anyway, does the summer sale cards' price usually go up after the sale, or can you even sell them at all or is that blocked when the sale ends? Help would be appreciated

I did read that, but I didn't know if that meant they'd dissappear, or one just wouldn't be able to sell them. That answers my question. Thank you

They will disappear, same as the winter cards did.

I think the Summer cards will become useless after the sale is over as I assume the badge will become uncraftable. So I suggest either selling the card and getting some monez from it or try and collect the other cards to craftt the badge and level up on steam. I hope I helped in some way

I guess I was thinking about the previous summer sale (which cards are still there). Now that you say it, I never even realized the winter ones dissappeared. I don't know how to close this discussion, I realize my question wasn't very smart to start with... thanks! *walks away happy*

Yeah, Steam really screwed us with the Winter Cards. I was going to craft the badge, but their servers were down, and when they came back up, the had deleted the cards. I opened a support ticket and they basically just told me to go screw myself.

Gotta catch them all... easiest way to get all the cards is through the Market... or buy all the games... and hope for the best.

I just realized it makes absolutely no sense to actually craft the badge, from an economic point of view. I you do, you may get an item that you can sell for less than 1 summer adventure card. I ended up selling the foil. Got $2 for it. I've never spent money on cards (and I never will), but I've sold a few and made a few bucks. No one will ever REALLY profit from it. I guess it's just like if you enjoy getting hooked into the micro-management loop. Now I just have to decide if I WANT THAT BADGE, or if I should just sell the cards and get about $3 for the whole uncrafted cards (or maybe the price will go up on the last hour of the sale)... Kudos to Steam for ruining our lives... lol
