Game pops open and closes?
Hey you all,

I was hoping somebody could help me solve a problem..
I have some games that won't start, here's what happens:

- Library --> All Games --> Select game --> Play
- The game opens, but all I see is black screen
- 2 seconds later it closes, automatically
- It's still open in my taskbar (windows)
- If I click the icon in my taskbar, to whole thing start again, it opens, black screen, 2 secs, etc.

Does somebody know how to fix this?
This doesn't happen on all games, it happened (till now) on:
- Defy Gravity
- Take Down: Red Sabre
- HAWKEN
- Age of Empires III (Complete Edition)

Thanks!
Does anybody need more info? Just send a msg!
(Sorry, English isn't my native language).

Try to verifiy the game cache by going to your libary > the game you want to verify > right click > properties > local files tab > verify integrity of game cache

It's not just one game.. it's happened on multiple games (as I mentioned).
That doesn't work, sorry, tried it, too...

Have you tried to delete the local content of the games and then reinstalled them?

Yes.. but it isn't just one game...
It's a game of 4, maybe 5. Resolution has been changed multiple times, no effect...

Try going to you steam installation folder and delete everything expect for the steamapps folder and the steam.exe file. After that try running the steam.exe file

Why should I do that? That's like, 75 folders, or something?

@Caps; Tried that too, no effect. Anybody else?
