Start here:

Steam Support > How to remove and refresh your Steam files [/quote]

Refreshing your Steam files can resolve many issues that can be encountered in the Steam application, store, or games. Performing this operation will ensure that there are no issues that could be resolved with a new installation of Steam, and is a good place to start any troubleshooting process.

did not work = (
I had to reset the directory of my games on steam and relogin
but the only thing that changed is that now instead of getting no image on the friends list, is a question mark :tcry:

i guess is something in the server(or not)
my friends don't have this problem, i asked two friends, and everything is fine, they chance the mode of exibition, and the icons load/download normally :tank:

Damm you steam! ¬¬
exactly the same problem

I GUESS i found a solution...
Go to your network settings, and changed the default DNS to the DNS of google
for those who do not know is
Principal: 8.8.8.8
Secondary: 4.4.8.8
applied, close the Steam, restart the Network, and reconnect to Steam, after I do that, everything goes back to normal here
but do not know if this will fix it really, but it never hurts to try something simple and fast.
good luck! :tgrin:
