Have you tried both the browser and client version? Have you tried other devices? Have you tried a different internet connection? Have you tried a different payment method? Have you removed and readded your payment method?

Everything. I'm traveling right now so I had trouble getting around the country issue, but right now its just this irritating message, "An unexpected error has occurred. Your purchase has not been completed. Please contact Steam Support."

And the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Steam Support isn't functioning.

Problems solved.

I've seen a person waiting for an 4 day long ticket to be answered. Mine, 2 days. They say its "overloaded" but I'm doubt that's true.

I mean the tickets are categorized in the first place, and considering the general amount of players that are on Steam, "overloaded" does not convince.

Either Steam Support is being managed by monkeys or I'm a brilliant and smart individual. Most likely the first one.

Not sure what Steam Support did exactly, but I was able to buy a game after they replied to my ticket. I'm a happy child now.

Sale periods equal a spike in users and a spike in sales. With those comes an increase in players having issues as well. If they are slow on a good normal day, why do you think it wouldn't exacerbate the problem?

This is awful cuz now the summer sale period on the game will go back to normal -_- it seems like a lot of people have this problem thou?

Then why even do these Summer/Winter Sales when their servers aren't capable of handling the amount of traffic during normal days? It's just all for profit isn't it? Bloody hell, I'm not an expert in these fields but even I could tell how poor Valve is handling this issue.

In addition, the servers were slow, but at least they were functional. Right now? I can't even do jack. Is this a store or an museum/showcase for games? Oh, and a better question: What's Steam Support without an support?

Not just my issue, but this issue seems to be common in my perspective. You'd think a company so large would have an efficient customer service, but why would they want to do that? Money is their first priority of course. *whispers* especially for American companies *whispers*

I agree especially if it is keeping customers from purchasing games they should be all over that.
