'Card Declined' notice, but still charged through Paypal
I'll keep this as short and sweet as I can:

Tried to buy Sims 3 + Pets and Banished via Paypal. After hitting purchase button, the "working" message took abnormally longer than usual. During that time, I got the usual message via phone that basically says "You've sent a payment of $21.88 to Valve Corp." so all seems to be working okay.

About 30 seconds later, get a message on the Steam purchase page saying my credit card declined and to use a different payment method.

Paypal still shows the payment as completed (not on 'Hold', Paypal specifies the difference).

Didn't get the two Summer trading cards, but the two games both show up in library. Unplayable. Message comes up saying the purchase is still processing so they can't be installed yet.

Cherry on top of the icing is Steam's ticket system being down for contact. I just want the games I paid for. Never had this issue before and I've bought quite a bit through Steam/Paypal combo so I'm more than a little irritated. Will this fix itself or is it something I need to take up with getting a refund/rebuying before the sale ends? Thanks friends~

**nevermind, seems the transaction went through on its own after about 10 minutes. The games are now playable and I the two trading cards I earned are in my inventory.
Valve is very strict about stuff like this. When a payment fails it fails. I have never heard of Valve charging for games that didn't go through. You get your money back on the spot in this situation or the payment goes through and you get your product. Glad it worked out.
