Steam Client OFFLINE INSTALLER
So steam lets you download a downloader of the installer. Now i want to install steam to an offline computer, but steam doesn't give an offline installer or maybe there is i don't know about. But if there's no such thing, can i simply copy the steam files then drop it in the offline computer? or is there any other way to install steam offline?

You cannot install steam offline. It needs to authenticate with the servers(and each game does as well Its DRM after all.).

And no, if you copy the files, it will still need to authenticate on a new system.

but can I copy the files then connect to the internet temporarily just to authenticate?

Yes in theory that would work. Permitting and "bugs" in the system.

If you hate the downloader, you can make a backup of Steam folder from program files.

There is no offline installer, however you could copy over the Steam files from another PC, install the Steam Service onto your PC, wipe any user data and that would work.
