Steam password demand from sites gog.com or humblebundle
Hi, I bought some games from gog.com and humblebundle sites. To get the codes to be used on steam these sites ask for my steam's password. I would like to know if this method is safe or would it be better to change the password after every purchase off steam. thanks

It the login redirects you to a secure valve site then you're fine to log in.

Always check the URL and the certificate. If you're being redirected to THE REAL STEAMCOMMUNITY page, you're safe. If not, then no.

No other domain but Steam website/app should ask about your Steam password. You should enable Steam guard to benefit from two-factor authentication.

Some sites redirect you to Steam to log in.

I know that, but he wrote that websites like gog or humble required his Steam password, which should never happen in normal conditions. You give your password only on Steam domains.

Sorry, I explained badly. These sites send me to the steam's site, it seems to me that this method is safe but I'm not 100% sure

It is safe as long as you make sure that this is really the Steam site.

Sorry for my english. My doubt is that when these sites redirecting me I'm ALREADY logged in with the steam's client. why I need to log in on the website of steam?

What I normally do for outside sites in these situations is go directly to steams site before hand and log in directly. That way when the other site redirects you to steam you are already logged in and just have to confirm your account without having to put in your login info.

Are you really sure that gog.oom wants the password for steam?
A site which only sells DRM Free games without any Steamkeys?

no maybe I'm wrong with gog.com, but I'm sure it is so for humblebundle.com. I recently bought "gone home" from humble, so I was able to download the game directly on my pc or request the activation code on steam. To do this, I was redirected on steam even though I was already logged in with the client.
