M4A4 Howl

I traded my m4 howl earlier today because I was not aware of the upcoming change to cs go (because of copyright issues) as I had the m4 before the copyright issue was made known I wish to have my acc inventory rolled back so I can keep my m4.

If I was told beforehand that there was a copyright issue on the m4 I wouldn't have traded it because of how much it would cost afterwards (see community market for things that had copywritten stuff)

I think that it's only fair as the public wasn't aware of what was going on and valve didn't say anything until after it was removed

Whats your opinion on the new look compared to the old one?

Haven't had time to look, all I know is that I feel like its been stolen from me as basically no one knew except valve and the original creator that it was going to be changed until after people had already traded it.

Inventories should go back to before the copyright notice.

Get over it. They're not going to rollback inventories. The person you sold it to may not even have it.

I'm pretty sure if the same thing happened to you you wouldn't "get over it". I've just lost the 100+ dollars I could have had if valve gave us proper warning!

i have howl stat mw, i prefer the new look to the old one, still i keep my howl, or trade it for very good offer only... :D next time dont be stupid, take your time.. When i got the information about copyright problem, i knew the price will grow up... Howl stat mw is around 400 euros and + now ...

There's nothing that can be done now, but for future reference I'd say this is a pretty good illustration of why it's a bad idea to spend lots of real money on virtual in game items you don't really even own. These things can disappear at any moment or change 'value', even be lost forever due to a legal issue, server issue, game issue or even the developer's whims.
