Trade ban for 5 days because changing password.

I forgot which password i put last time, and i recover it on my email, i set new and login, and i cannot trade for 5 days. I contacted support yesterday saying that everything is ok with my account, so they can enable trade earlier so i dont have to wait 5 days.. Is there anyone who already had this issue earlier? Do i have to wait 5 days or they can remove it before.

I did already, i asked is it possible that i get my temporary ban from trade removed before it expires... :) Thanks anyway

You are never banned for CHANGING your password. Only for RESETTING it.
Recent Password Reset

If you reset your password, you will be restricted from trading and the Community Market for 5 days. If your account has not had any activity for more than 2 months, these restrictions will apply for 30 days. We do this to help protect users who lose access to their email account. Note that this does not affect password changes, only password resets.

You don't get trade banned for no reason. They will lift it in the amount of time they said they will lift it. And it's nothing to worry about in all honesty, they do that to make sure your account stays safe and secure.

I understand all of that now, they can simply check my ip adress.. But whatever, im gonna wait 4 more days from now on..
