Can't download free content/games

Hey there!
I tried to download "Hawken", it's free by the way, and clicked to "Play now", then a tab has opened and I cklicked on "next", but it sais "download ready" and "0 bytes/ 0 bytes" and I didn't get the files! In every case, whatever free game/content it is, I can't download it! I tried to install Steam new, but it doesn't work.
Please tell me if you know what I have to do!

I'm experiencing the same issue, but with Warframe. I've just bought a new PC, and downloaded steam onto my new computer.. The same issue occurs when I try to download/install Warframe. Very confusing. After seeing this post, I think that it could be a problem with Steam.

There are many threads on this issue already. It's an issue with the package data being missing for F2P games. We have to wait for Valve to fix it, and nobody knows how long that will take, nor has there been an official announcement.
