Report a translation problem
Verify that it is detected and working in Windows; Control Panel > Devices and Printers. Should see the controller listed there; right click it and click on Game Controller Settings. Click Advanced and ensure it's selected as the Default/Preferred Device. Click the Properties button to verify the axis', triggers, and buttons are all working.
Might want to also check for updated driver for it via Windows Updates. If not; install the Driver + Software from Logitech here (under the Downloads section): http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support/gamepad-f310?osid=14&bit=64
If a game has issues whenever the Logitech software is running; close out the game, exit the Logitech software; then re-launch the game. Overall, controller should still work without it.

LOL, using a game controller on a pc is just plain wrong! Keyboads and mice are for true pc gamers lol.
