Free Sniper Elite V2 - cant add it to accounts that are in Family Sharing with me.

Im using this PC with my family.
I added Free Sniper Elite V2 to my account, but I cant into my family accounts that are in Family Sharing with me.
On every other account I can add without problems, but not on my family accounts.

"There is error ... bla bla bla... in adding this product to your account"

I have got exactly the same problem and I have no idea what to do. I'm also sharing my account with family. Using the browser doesn't change anything :/

Why can't everyone get the free games (like Sniper Elite 2) if one person gets the game first and your both using family sharing?

Is Steam ever going to fix this issue?

Well as far as I can remember this is the first time a game has been completely free since Family Sharing left beta in March, so they are probably just finding out and working on it.

This also happened with Arma 2. I'm thinking it's some weird bug.

I've got the same problem. Me & My Partner both have Steam, both accounts are family shared with each other. She added the game to her account, if I try to add the game to my account, it pops up with an error.

"Oops, Sorry!
An error was encountered while processing your request:

There was a problem adding this product to your Steam account."

If I install it, via family, from her account, and then she plays it I get the buy option, which takes me to the steam page for the game, with the install button, which when clicked still gives me an error.

The same thing happens when I try to install from steam store.

Any help in getting the game would be great.

A lot of people have been having this problem. Some have reported success by diabling family share/removing the acciunts. One guy said though that it woild impose a 2-3 month restriction for reconnecting but I have never heard of that.
Update: He sent me the link you can only access 5 accounts within 90 days.

2-3 months because I have full list (5 friends).
And last friend was added ~1 month ago.

What? I just got it for my account, then got it for stepson on his account and we are using fs. No problems at all.

I had to disconnect an account, get the game, then reconnect it.

Are you using the same PC? We are sharing one PC. Maybe thats the problem.

EDIT: It seems for Steam client issue. I added game to their accounts by Firefox browser.

Try doing it through the Browser not the client

i went here on a web browser on every account that has sharing https://store.steampowered.com/account/managedevices and revoke acces to the accounts (not the devices) then i was able to install (purchase) the game, then i log in on the steam client and went to menu Steam>settings>family, and in eligible accounts was the other accounts from sharing but without a checkmark, i just put a checkmark and clic OK (did the same on all the accounts), and is back to sharing, i didnt wait 90 days, i just did it

Separate PCs, sorry... also, we only have his library shared, not mine, then I got the game on my account first... that also might make a difference.
