Stuck on "Updating Steam Information ..."

After logging into steam, the 'Updating Steam Information" thing shows up, and it just stays there..

The progress bar has been empty for the past 10 minutes, and I don't think its going to budge. I've also noticed that on the top left corner, it simply displays 'Untitled'.

Help?

Also having this same issue. Tried "refreshing my Steam files", and it made no difference.

Oh, I just let the window as is for 20 mins after reinstalling, now it's working. Lol
