yeah im having same problem , i have 5,37 € on my paypal account and i can't add funds to steam wallet ( 5€)
also id like to ask:
friend bought me a gift (paysafecard- 6 € ) and i want to add funds to steam wallet so i choose 5 € , enter code , then it says either error or not enought funds, whats wrong ? i also cant check funds available on that card- it says error occured, contact support ;-(

I don't know much about the paysafe card but Paypal is working fine for me here in the States. Did you try both the browser and client?

ok I don't speak/read much German.. Over here we can link our bank accounts to paypal and don't have to actually keep money in the paypal account. If you make a purchase it will automatically draft the appropriate amount from your bank account. Have you tried that? Sometimes payment providers can put a hold in your funds or require you to have a significant amount more than the purchase in your account, but that is usually not the case with paypal.
Since it has been ongoing for you as well as the paysafe card then there may actually be a bug with Steam's payment system over there.
Have you or anyone you know with the same problem contacted Steam Support?

got same problem (im like Godziu from Poland), aldo did change curency to ero,, tried on webbrowser, tried buin and addin to steamwallet some money, no luck.. cant buy or send money from paypal its askin me to add credit card and i got enough money on paypal - like 5x more then i wanna spend :| anyone ideas whats wrong?

After talking to paypal themselves and them telling me that they found no issues with my account, I went ahead and tried to buy something on humble bundle. Guess what? It worked. IT seems that steam is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around again, just wait patiently I suppose and it should fix itself soon.

well. same thing here . and i have already purchased allot of games but always first i had to solve problems. !! used before clickandbuy ,but never at once i could by the game. had to go first to the forum or contacted steam to solve the problem . now CLICKANDBUY does not work anymore because of some issues between steam and clickandbuy,(not me) and now have to use PAYPAL which i have already many many years now. i payed already more than 10 items
from eBay, whit no problem at all !!!!

now it seems to my that steam has its one mind about how people should pay for the items and
gives us "A PAIN IIN THE A.....XXXX" !!!!!!!!. WHY ????@!!. it can be so easy !!! but no !! must be whit "bleeb." problems.

Same here, bought over 40 games in the last year but now, apparently, my paypal money isn't good enough! Been waiting for AGES to get Call Of Pripyat, it finally goes on sale for half price, throw in Crysis 2 for good measure aaaaannnnddd..... please add a credit or debit card!!!!!
I don't have a credit or debit card! And even if I did I wouldn't have it's details held in the most hacked software in the history of the world!!

It's likely a temporary problem due to native currencies being implemented. Don't know where you got that most hacked software in the world idea from.
