How do I connect my PS3 account to my Steam account?

I read that PS3 users can log in to Steam using their PSN account. I've already created a PS3 account and a Steam account, can I still connect the two? How? Also, will my PS3 trophies transfer over to my Steam account and also show up as Steam achievements?

Thanks, I just tried signing in but it says "Missing return URL parameter." Ugh, I hate this technical difficulty crap. Does anyone know what that means? I double-checked and I am using the correct username and password.

forgot to mention have to do it , while conected to the game portal for ps3. i got that issue at first . load up portal and then connect the accounts.can really only be done from ps3 side before tying to permanantly linking account . i do wounder why that is though,

It sounds like the page is broken. There's not much you can do on that part. The feature was used primarily for cross play between the PS3 and PC version of Portal 2, but it seems to have been stagnant since. If I recall correctly, trophies for that game did transfer over to Steam, but that was the only game to do so.

Oh, so the only reason to link the 2 accounts is for Portal 2? Damn, I was hoping for a wider range of games and stats across the two platforms. That would have been REALLY nice.

I, too, wish I could transfer my PS3 trophies over to Steam, especially those Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood multiplayer trophies...makes me sick. I feel like I'm starting all over in a foreign land, and I don't speak the language yet.

Well, even PC version of AC:B doesn't have Steam achievements; it has those only on the Uplay side.
