the little pictures behind each Worms show you on which OS it works.
Behind Worms Revolution i only see the Windows sign.
Nonetheless, if a company like Steam has even the slightest interest in customer satisfaction, cases like this MIGHT be noticed, and if they keep happening and have a simple solution (like letting people request extra warnings when they try to buy a game that doesn't run on MacOS and/or Linux) they MIGHT eventually add something.to avoid such cases.
Which, of course, isn't the easiest thing to do: they'll make less money. You bought the game, they got the money. Everything is perfect, at least from their perspective. Whether or not you can actually play the game doesn't matter.
For most companies, "money" is what they see. Customer Satisfaction might have an influence on that, but it's not obvious and not measurable.
"falcon3939" bought a game for $xxx. That's easy to measure, and it's actual money. However, if falcon3939 did not buy the game because he got a warning when he tried to buy it, and subsequently realized that he doesn't actually want it -- the shop just lost $xxx due to that stupid customer setting. The fact that falcon3939 might actually be relieved that this nice shop cared about him, and comes back next time he's bored and wants to look for a game because he likes shops that care about him -- how do you put that into an easy-to-understand number?
