new firefox tab opens up steam and proceeds to try and finish downloading my game

I recently purchased deus ex:human revolution and didn't finis the download in one go. I paused it and later discovered that whenever i opened a new tab in mozilla firefox , steam would automatically unpause the updater and continue downloading. Also, even after exiting steam and opening a new firefox tab, steam would re-start and the deus ex downloader would start running again. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's not a big deal but its pissing me off

I suggest u click open the downloading app and uninstall then exit it
