steam wrapper error

steam failed to load: Wrapper not implemented.
i have tried running as administrator, deleting everything but steamapps and steam,exe, unistalling and reinstalling. nothing.

this only started happening today.
cant enter steam so i cant change stuff like the beta settings.

i have the same problem for weeks now. i just waited for another update but its still there. i cant update or start steam at all because i get a error message when the update is at 100%: Steam failed to load: Wrapper not implemented! pls help asap.

i got it working by renaming the steam exe file steam.exe

hey ash sry iam a noob where can i find this steam exe file? if i try to rename the steam icon in the steam folder i get a error message: error 0x80070570 the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable

that error i dont know but for most people steam exe file is in C:\Program Files\Steam i renamed the steam exe file steam.exe then it created another steam exe file ( not steam.exe, just steam) i deleted the steam.exe and renamed the other steam exe file steam.exe

And where can i find this steam exe ? cant see it anywhere i just see steam.exe already

well for me it started when it said cant find steam.exe ( the one in the steam file on C ).
