Does ram make a difference?

Just wondering call me or a idiot or so I've been freezing quite often in games so I was thinking of buying a new ram/memory for my computer does ram make the game run faster and not much freezing? if so what should ram should I get that good? MAX:100$

Seems more like a Problem with your Graphiccard or maybe Processor.

If you got more then 4GB of Ram (Hz doesn't REALLY matter) it can't be the problem.

Get as much ram as possible. 6gb ram will work for every game i recomend 8 tho.

Theres an easy way.
I think you are Using Windows.

Hit Windows(Flagsymbol :D ) + R to upen the "Run"-Window.
(Before Win8 you simply can hit the Startbutton (Left lower corner) and type into the "Run"-Input)
Enter "dxdiag" without " (DirectX Diagnostic)

After opening up (maybe you have to say "yes" before. click "save all information" or something like that (down in the middle) save the .txt anywhere (Desktop for example)

Copy and Paste the Content of your DirectXDiag.txt.

Oh well Steam got the same function as well. But "All that" is way to much. :D

It's just one command folowed by some clicks. :D

Oh yep, seems like your RAM is the Problem, 1GB is too low, especially if you are using Windows 7.

Time to get an Update with and GB-Kit. 4GB and you will be fine, better if there is more potential to upgrade. That should be enough for your Needs.
There are 2x 2GB Kits for around 40€ - prices are different if you are not buying from Germany so can't tell you the exact pricings.

Processor is low, too but maybe works with GhostRecoon, GT610 isn't best solution for Gaming but delivers decent performance for some Games.

Your system would benefit from a video card and memory upgrade. The 610 is not very powerful by today's standards. And with only 1GB of RAM, you'd benefit from buying a couple cheap 2GB sticks and popping in 4GB to the system.

Ram is deffnitly why youre having trouble playing games. I recommend getting 8GB of ram.
