Well. Community, Store, Activation Servers, Market, all seem to be working fine. I guess people should be a bit more specific when they ask questions about whether it's "Down" or not.

Also having issues with matchmaking and server hosting through steam.

I think they were asking what everyone else is wondering "Is Steam SERVERS down?" Like for me, I'm trying to play L4D2 and when I try to connect to any servers it tells me "Failed to create session. Please check your connection and try again." Seems only Single player games can be played at the moment, you can't connect to any servers.

Odd that this is the first thread about it. It seems like it'd be a bigger issue. Started happening right after steam went offline earlier.

Steam is often down for maintenance at around this time every Tuesday. It usually lasts 5-10 minutes.

That's true. Possibly some unforseen error occured as it's been about 30 minutes since the servers went down for said maintenance.

For me it's more than 1 hour that servers of all games are down

I can't play COD Ghosts it says cannot connect to steam... so yes they are down.
