PS4 controller mic on PC

hey all, im using a ps4 controller and its working perfectly with all my games. Is there a way to use the mic that came with the PS4 while using on the PC? Cant find anything on the net, and cant get it to work. it works if i plug it straight into the jack on the computer but wont when its plugged into the controller

Out of the box, the PS4 controller is only able to be used as a basic controller when hooked up to a PC. This means that extra features like motion controls, the touch pad, and the headset jack can't be used.

A 3rd-party driver may enable it, but there isn't one I know of that does.

Guys, he meant the earset cord that you can plug in to the controller, not the controller itself.

The earbud part works, but I'm not sure about the microphone.

I also need to make the ps4 micro to work on my pc, it just doesnt work and I cant believe this is the only post about it and no one found a solution.

Hey if you still wondering how to do this, I did some research. You just need a stronger cable lol. the one i was using was only charging the controller. it wasnt actually strong enough to connect. Now im using my headset for audio and as a mic.
