Can't close steam windows.

When i click something, for example screenshot i can't close it. The X button is not working and i have to refresh page to get rid of it.

It's a common problem in the latest patches it seems, may have something to do with Windows 10 as well. I've had similar issues with Chrome occasionally.

Same goes here and I've only noticed it recently, I guess it can get kinda annoying when browsing through screenshots.

Yea it happend just after i upgraded to Win 10 but it's still happening after i downgraded back to Win 7

I have the same thing. You also can't put items into showcases or anything

Both work on the web-browser (Mozilla Firefox for reference); while not on the Steam -client.

EDIT: They broke the inventory showcase again, apparently. It was working not so long ago; in between the issue starting and now.

The screenshot and other modal windows still close like normal on Firefox, (with the X)

EDIT 2: Inventory showcase modifications work third party web-browsers through the modal window (the window that comes on top of the other and is broken on the client.)

I would never in a million years use windows 10 and this has been going on for days. This is why steam should not be required, it is garbage and never works.

It is not Win10; it is simply Steam Client; it occurred after the last Client update.

This doesn't effect Steam via Web Browser, so until they fix it, try viewing Steam websites that way instead. When u can't close the popup/viewing windows in Steam Client, press F5 and it will refresh the page.

Is effects Steam Client Beta as well as non-Beta Public/Stable version.

Trust me, I hate it too, and I've tried it every which way; Client, Browser, multiple OS' etc.
Last Steam Update is just buggy.
