playing two games at once on the same pc with the same acc

as the title says i dont mean two of the same game i mean say if i want to play borderlands 2 while in a different game i alt tab so i can refine ore so i can play something while doing this boring task

You can launch multiple games if you want. I just set them windowed mode or borderless mode.

yeah i just did it after i did that comment but i had it in full screen dont know why i thought you could not run two different games at the same time but it might have been a certain game or steam removed that block

Yep you can run multiple games on one computer, however you can't run two different game on two different computers you own. You used to, for the first 5 years of Steam.

Not only can I not run two games at once, I cannot run another game while the first game I tried to launch is installing an update!
EDIT: Okay, it looks like the only problem here is being able to run a game while another game is 'in the middle of launching' which apparently can include lengthy downloads within the game launcher.

you can go in the settings then downloads then click allow downloads when in game so that would fix one of your problems dont know why you cant just click on 2 games
