Need help with negative balance (Trade ban)

Okay first sorry if this is in the wrong thread I looked and didnt see where else it would go. So a while ago 3 misscellanious charges from paypal showed up on my bank account I went to the bank to tell them those arent me since I didnt recognize them at all. the amounts were $5, $25, $9.67 all my other steam purchases using paypal said it was steam these did not. So my bank reversed the charge which pay pal took money from steam so I hav -19.68 which is weird since it doesnt match the total up their. So I bought a $50 steam card thinking if I redeem it it will take what I owe off of the card then give me the difference but it wont work. How do I fix this issue? I dont want to be able to not play or do anything for 9 weeks!!! I even re added my card onto paypal and it didnt work. Any ways to fix this?

The only way to undo the restriction is to reverse the chargeback.

You need to contact Paypal and ask them to reverse the disputed transactions. Steam will receive the money back and any restrcitions will be lifted. Your Paypal account will be permanently suspended from Steam though in situations like these.

Because it performed an unathorised chargeback which is deemed fraudulent.

Any fraudulent credit card use, credit card chargebacks, or Paypal chargebacks (regardless of when the transaction occurred)

Well I realize now its not fraud its my misunderstanding. However if it was proven to be fraud why would I recieve a trade ban? is there a way I can send steam the funds directly to make up the missing balance?

PP is notorious for this type of thing, I'll never use it for my Steam account. Once they have closed it, there is nothing you can do about it.

Then your account will remain suspended until Steam get their money from PayPal. It may have been a misunderstanding in your eyes but Valve don't see it this way. They have seen plenty of people try to defraud them this way in the past.

Trade bans are only issued for marketplace malpractice. Fraudulent activity of this nature is an account suspension until the issue is resolved. You need to direct PayPal to reopen the case urgently.

I tried they said the cases there is nothing they can do. However they said I could pay steam directly using paypal using steams email. Would steam accept this? Im more than willing to pay I even bought a $50 card to try to repay but they wont accept it.

All you can do is contact Steam Support and as if they can negociate another method of payment as PayPal have closed the case. Explain that you have wallet funds available and if it's possible for them to deduct the difference.

Well I have a steam card however the trade ban wont let me redeem it. This is a misunderstanding thats my fault I didnt recognize the purchases since paypal changed what the name was out of the blue but I realize what they were and im willing to pay the full amount.

you will have to work that out with support. My understanding is, they are unable to reverse the lock unless the funds are returned with exactly the same method.
