Error code -138 help please
It has been few days now that when i try to access the steam store or forums through steam client i get this error code: Error code -138. However if login through firefox i can sue forums and store well. This means that now due to this problem i can not:
download patchws for games
buy new games
type on forums
through steam client. What shoud l ido?

Try to exit Steam, navigate yourself to
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Steam\htmlcache

Remove the folder, reconnect to Steam.

Hmm! I fixed it. What did. Well first of all pc specs:
Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit
2500k 3,3ghz
12 gb ddr 3 1600mhz
GIGABYTE GTX 970 G1 GAMING
Last week i downlaoaded and installed MCAFEE. The reason i did that is because since then when i connect to the internet lot of ads pop in no matter in what website i am. First i did a complete scan with Avast! antivirue that didnt found something. So then i decided to tryi with another similar program. So i try MCAFEE. It found some spyware/threats but even after the deleting them the ads didng to. So it apperas that steam had been blocked by MCAFEE for some reason. I just deleted it and now steam works ok!
