but it seems pretty useful, like looking people up on steamRep to se if i can trust them
You visit their profile, copy the part after id/ and put it into steamrep and it should match their profile.
For example my custom url is steamcommunity.com/id/Suldok (if you visit my profile, it's the URL) so if you go ahead and input Suldok into steamrep, it'll find my profile
And looking at your profile, you don't have a custom name set yet so your profile is steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198155490043
If you take the numbers after profiles/ and input into steamrep, it'll still find your profile. That's in case a person doesn't have a custom name set
Go to your profile, click Edit Profile button and scroll down to 'Custom URL' and you can enter whatever you want as long as it isn't taken
