Factory reset computer + Steam cloud
Is it possible to get my save games of the cloud? I have factory reset my computer and I didn't think about backing up my save games because I thought the cloud would sort it for me.

It's called a reformat. Not a factory reset. This is not a cellphone. It's a computer. And i think cloud does save some of your stuff but you'd have to reinstall everything again if you are reformatting,

No it isn't, factory reset was an easier word, I reinstalled windows to delete everything. I am very ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ aware it's not a cellphone and I know the cloud saved my game saves, the question was supposed to be, can I get my save games off the cloud onto my computer so I can continue to enjoy my games from where I left off. I have reinstalled my games I just want the game saves.

As long as the game uses the SteamCloud to save savegames there, yes. Steam will do download them automatically when you start the game.
Still not a factory reset.

P.S.: Just because a game uses the SteamCloud does not mean it uses the cloud to store savegames there.

As soon as you start the game on Steam, the game will sync with the cloud and you will have your saves. I'm not aware of a manual way to do this.

Thank you, and they didn't install automatically or I wouldn't have posted this. All the games I care about uses the Steam cloud. I know its not factory reset, I thought more people would understand if I put factory reset, its not a reformat either.

If you want to be understood properly, you should express yourself properly.

So what about GTA5, Alien Isolation, Far Cry 4? Should these games have game saves saved to the cloud automatically?
