Steam account hijacked via Teamspeak link?

Hey,
i got my steam account hijacked via link in ts wich said i needed some music file. When i pressed i got an immediate download wich i couldnt stop. so ive lost 700 euros worth csgo skins from my inventory

I have made a support ticket, but nothing have happened yet...

Ticket couild take awhile for support to respond. In the mean time, you best clean your pc, you download some malware and are at risk.

Okay. I have done a rewind to 2 days earlyer in windows, and i have cleaned the system multible times - aswell as reinstalled ts and steam

I had the same thing happen to me except it was a "sound patch" on team speak. I still have not heard back from steam support and it has now been a full week since hacking and ticket being submitted. I have cleaned my pc, changed passwords etc. but it just sucks waiting so long on steam support.

Very common scam. Send a ticket, will be resolved within a week or two.

Same here. i just get hihacked via teamspeak and lost $400. Not only stole my items, he uses my account to scam my friends becuz they thought that was me and trusted. The hacker also changed my steam email and password but i locked my account right after. I just got my account back after 5 days waiting for steam support and no items return. ;-;

You probably were working hard for the money. But sometimes it's better to try smarter, not harder.
Use your brain while using the internet, don't trust anything a stranger sends you, especially if you have to download and execute it.

I just got my stolen items back. Steam support helped me get them back. i think that guy got banned from market and trade idk

Happened to me last night, kind of makes me hyper aware about almost everything internet wise & I found a virus called MRT.exe even after restarting my PC over again with a freshly wiped harddrive guess I didn't do a good enough job the worst part is though I wasn't even aware that teamspeak was being used this way by hackers, still waiting on steam support to get back to me about it, I've submitted a full report on it all, including who hacked me, who acquired my stolen items and the exact items & item wear of what went missing, here's hoping this is resolved quickly!

You have to wait at least 5 or 7days for steam's respond.

Remember when taking pictures try to show your name on that account.
I sent them a picture of the virus or keylogger that i downloaded, a picture of the hacker's profile page, picture of his IP address and location, picture of market history, pictures of my emails, and the IP teamspeak server that i joined.

Steam told me to use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and it worked perfectly. It's free, after i scan with that i found lots of malware on my pc, and 2 of them name "Stealer Password" .

I also downloaded AGV anti-virus and was scanning at the same time.

Well they restored my items.
