perhaps, only filipinos can understand what PLDT (philippine long distance telephone) company is.

have you tried contacting the customer support of your isp?

have you tried changing steam download server to philippines (or singapore)?

have you tried connecting to game servers that are near the philippines?

slow download speed during daytime. faster download speed usually after 11pm and before 10am bext day.

at times, i got kicked from servers because of high ping while playing l4d1/l4d2.

sir i already contact my isp he send me a technician and he said dont have problem in my area
my problem now is. if im not play dota 2 my speed connection is good but once i play on game dota 2 my 1.33 mbps download speed down to 0.03 to 0.10 i dont know why. what should i do thanks

or is the pc connected directly to the modem?

if its connected directly, what cable are you using?
usb or cat5/lan

changing download from one server to another is valid only for downloading steam games so that you are near a download center.

i see that your problem is not downloading the game but internet lag while playing the game dota2.

try what _|_ suggested.
use a cat5e or cat6e LAN cable to connect to your computer.
(1-3 meters costs less than 150php from cdrking)

i got nosebleeds too from reading other technical terms.

as much as possible, i use english so other persons with more technical know-how than me can help me in my own queries.

there is also a filipino thread somewhere where tagalog is commonly used.

your opponents are too far away from you since ping is the signal bouncing from you >> connecting to dota2 server >> connecting to other players and back and forth.

connect at dota2 server near you or play with other players from the philippines.
(my 6yo and 12yo nephews play dota2 more than me).

or spend 1 hour at netopia to see their dota2 settings and compare with yours.
