You can only activate the code once you have Arma 2 and Arma 2 Arrowhead INSTALLED on your system.

Do you have the Arrowhead DLC? If not; you wont be able to play DayZ Mod until you have bought and activated it. Just get the mod from Steam as it's free

Then you can't play the DayZ mod until you buy this also. It wont work without the Arrowhead DLC.
