Disable Steam Guard?
I am getting tired of getting this pop up everytime when I browse through the web browser. I then have to log into my email and it is just time consuming. Is there a way to turn it off or recognize a constant IP address?

Do this instead: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/block-websites-storing-site-preferences#w_block-cookies-for-all-sites

Then add an exception to allow cookies for steampowered.com and steamcommunity.com .
And how to use cookies but erase them, and still keep steam ones?

I use private browsing as some family members in my household forget to log off their accounts and can also get privy. Private browsing ensures everyone's accounts are automatically logged off through force and their privacy is maintained.

But my question of whether Steam Guard can be turned off is still not answered. By that I have to assume it is not possible.

Privacy from who? Other family members?

Can't you just have different windows users? Then everyone would get their own firefox profiles and no issues, just password the users. And maybe log people out automatically.

Or you can use your own user at least, for steam stuff.

Or you could use chrome since it supports easy switching of different profiles on one windows user.

You can turn off steam guard but that lowers the security of your account and blocks you from trading and market and other stuff like posting comments.
