and worst way to say it what prevent you from exit steam client, just like any other app you close, as i said you need to understand both side of all, and who know if this cant backfire , if it think you are away in a game then shutdown, nothing is as simple as it sounds.
When steam is running, sleep is sometimes broken.
When steam is closed, sleep works fine.
I also saw someone mention NVIDIA HD Audio as a potential problem. I right clicked on it in device manager and updated the driver. After that steam is running and sleep is working fine. Problem resolved. Will report back if it reverts.
ask in steam suggestion & Idea's here steam devs dont read.
