Windows 11 Steam opens with delay from pinned icon when in background

Under Windows 11 when I Pin the Steam Icon to the taskbar the program opens with a significant delay of ~15 seconds even if it is still running in the background. I can open it via the tray icon immediately.

Try this :

Right click on taskbar -> Task Manager -> Services -> Open Services (at the bottom) -> Right click on AMD External Events Utility -> Restart.

Thanks for the answer and the link. The solution for AMD Services did not work for me, but another solution in the link

"Disable integrated GPU from your cpu if you got one in device manager -> display adapter"

worked for me.

Device manager > right click any integrated graphics > disable device

This worked for me, was driving me nuts. Thank you!
