Stop Steam from pushing itself to the foreground when launching a game?
Ever since the new update Steam likes to push itself to the foreground when launching a game, instead of staying minimized in the tray.

Any way to stop it from doing this?

The easy step is to create a shortcut for steam on your desktop. Right click on it and go to "properties". There's a section titled "Target" in the "Shortcut" tab. Copy this into there after the pre-filled info: -nochatui -nofriendsui -silent

Then you need to log into Steam and go to your settings. Go to "interface" and tell it to open to your "Library". It's set to "Store" by default.

Close Steam and re-open. It should no longer show the splash screen and should stay minimized.

Only issue is that you now have to launch from that shortcut each time. But some won't care.
