Random account on my computer

When I set up my PC again today (it's been standing in a corner for about a month, since I moved houses) and opened the steam app, it asked "Who's playing?" and there's my account there, and another random account I haven't seen or heard of before. It's none of my friends, I haven't had anyone over to log in to their account, and when searching the account (if I found the right one), we have no friends in common. I'm just wondering what the hell's going on? Does this mean someone has accessed my computer and logged in on their account? Or was I hacked or what? A bug? I have no trading offers or anything; nothing seems amiss on my account.

"Who's playing?" only lists accounts from your computer, so if you let complete strangers use your box, then stuff like that can happen. If they are dumb enough to use their steam account on such a box.

Sure, you can always blame "hackers" if it makes you feel better -- but why would anyone try to hijack your computer, just to play games with their account on your computer? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense...

Yeah and that's just weird. My computer is stood in my home (I live alone) so no one should've had access unless some dude broke in just to log in on their steam account?? I haven't forgotten to lock the door either.

Exact same thing happened to me. Have no clue what's going on
