Generic controller Issues

I got a Dblue USB controller and it works fine while configuring it outside of steam, but when i'm trying to configure it in steam to assign all the buttons both of my sticks are drifting to the left and both of them don't go right or down, every single key i can assign it's just the stick i cant figure out whats going on.
This controller isn't that old either might be a knockoff but it worked extremely well before steam updated, even tried going back some updates but nope still the sticks drift to the left.

I tried speedlink gamepad driver and it didnt work
Does anyone else have the same issue?

There was an individual who found they were mapping the sticks too rapidly, so see if slower/more deliberate input helps.
(Steam > Settings > Test Device Inputs [Begin Test] > Setup Device Inputs)

If the mapping is still problematic, choose Copy to Clipboard and paste it here.
