Lost my Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator Recovery Code

I can't login steam on browser/client because i can't get the Mobile Authenticator code from steam on my phone. (I factory reset my phone and install steam app again.) and i don't remember Recovery Code .

I create ticket to steam support. i don't have any answer from steam. (4 days ago)

What should I do?

I have the same problem to, In the step that steam has to send you sms i dont get nothing. When i try to unlock my acc from the browser i can receive sms but not for me steam client... wtf?! sorry for my poor English

Try recovering at a different time. Maybe your SMS is just delayed during that time of day.

If you can't remember your code, you will have to contact Steam Support. Those are your only two options.

hey guys i got the same problem with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mobile code and i.. or more like the steam support solved it i had to wait for like 6 days or something and then they wrote me back and deactivated that mobile code thingy on my account..


the only thing i can say is wait wait wait and WAIT

Are you stuck at the part where you need the recovery code? (R + 5 digits)

Then you must be using Steam with beta participation activated.

Just do a clean re-install of Steam (to deactivate beta participation). After that, use the retrieval process from the Steam client.

You just need access to your email and SMS. No need for the authenticator recovery code.

2) Make a copy of your backup codes too
