Importing games into steam I guess ?
I have downloaded, installed and played Echo of Soul through Aeria Games Ignite but now that Echo of Soul is avalible on Steam, I want to update it and play it through steam like if first downloaded from Steam.
I have tried various things already like adding new Steam Library Folders but it says that the folder must be empty :(
Pls Help

Click "Add a game" on the bottom left of the Steam window, then "Activate a product on Steam" and enter the code that came with the game.

If you don't have a code, or Steam doesn't accept the code, then you can't add the game to your Steam account.

You need to use the Steam -client.

Games > Activate a Product on Steam; on top of the Steam -client.

Do note not every game can be activated on Steam.

With some it's possible, with others it isn't.

Let it start the download so it creates the folder within
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\
and try putting the files in there.

See how much of the files will have to be re-acquired; or if it will just overwrite it all.

Often times it's not possible though. ESO for one does support it.

hope this helps.
OP actually wanted the files to be recognized by Steam.

For overlay's sake, all the other Steamworks features aside; non-Steam is good enough.
