Depends if you uploaded them or not. If you didn't upload them then they're gone.

If you can't find them in the Recyle Bin, I'm afraid the screenshots are gone forever. :dealwithit:

When u click Delete via Steam Uploader; they are gone (Perma-Delete) they don't go to Recycle Bin via that method. However there are many free file recovery apps. As long as those block on your drive didn't get overwritten with new data, or have the free space flushed.

Usually what I do is this; upload the ones I really want to Cloud/Profile. Once that is confirmed and finished. I delete locally. If I want it back I can redownload it from my profile. Keeping alot of screenshots locally stored where Steam Uploader can see them boggs Steam Client down after a while.

If Windows 7, you can still try to use Previous Versions on the
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<user-ID>\760\remote\<app-ID>\screenshots\ -folder

You can also try a recovery program like Recuva even after the recycle bin.

But without hassle, they're gone forever now.

They're not gone. They are here: Steam\userdata\(numbers)\760\remote\(appid)\screen shots
What I don't know is how to do to the steam app to recognize them again.
