My webpage is getting {LINK REMOVED}

My website gets replaced with {LINK REMOVED} everytime I post it in chat and even on my own profile. VirusTotal detects nothing, so it's not because of a virus.
What can I do?

If its not your domain, its about the domain.

The link is probably filtering the hosting website you use as it has shown a history of being a location for scammers to put up their malicious links. Stop using that host.

Thank you for your answer, Silicon Vampire. I am pretty sure that the host is ok, but Steam seems to do that because of the .gq domain, which is a common space for phishing and scamming. So, is it possible to make my site an excption somehow or do I actually need to change my domain?

Apologies; I thought you meant your personal website was being redirected to malware material. Well it appears the free domain you have chosen isn't endorsed by Steam as a reptuable one - these freebie ones are a hotbed for hosting malicious material so Steam is filtering them out. Contact Support and see what domains they allow to publish - it'll have to be premium ones I expect though.

This is ridiculous. It JUST started happening to me and my buddy too after I installed the Steam Guard thing they added to the mobile version of Steam. I can't believe we don't get a say in whether or not we want this "protection".

It needs to be possible to turn off the filter.

And after all of these filters and stuff, malware links are still getting through. Every one of them.

the site being linked to is flagged by many filters like ghost and site rating companies like wot as being scam/spam advertisement

so it does not matter that the site passes malware checks, its considered by numerous filters as scam/spam advertising and why steam is most likely blocking it

posting it behind a pastebin is just bypassing filter and not good idea since it would be in violation of rules and guidelines and bypassing filters.

so good idea to remove indirect links to it and avoid getting into trouble..

also if you know of a malware link that is getting through report it to steam support and they will add it to their list of sites being filtered.

personally i think the filtering is working great and it was great idea and hope they keep doing more and more things to protect customers...

@Spawk That's true, I don't look at the forums much. On the other hand, I have never seen that a link sent from one of those bots who add you would be filtered.
