Malwarebytes Anti-Malware blocks steam?
So everytime i open my steam a warning by Malwarebytes tells me that C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steam.exe is a malicious website

Also tested a game Blockland for example and it also warns me it's malicious

I believe this is likely to be a false positive warning but i don't know.

On the "Programs Which May Interfere with Steam" List i didn't find Malwarebytes

How is it that your Malwarebytes is doing real-time scanning, unless you're using the Premium -license?

Figured as much, free is fine and won't cause you issues.

Anyway, if you must use the Premium -license, I'm sure there's a real-time scan exception list for folders. Put the whole Steam -folder there.

You can disable real time scanning and instead use the free real time malwarebytes anti exploit app.
Yes it's a false positive and you can email malwarebytes for them to fix it if needed. They respond fast to steam false positives as they know it's a popular service.

That's really odd, I've been using Steam and Malwarebytes (a purchased license) for many months together on the same laptop without any issues.

I have premium and it tells me steam is fine? Maybe you have a bad installation?

Same here, bought premium years ago, not a single time have I seen it block steam.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
