Steam on the Plane ( help )

So tomorrow I go on holiday and Have a long 4 hour flight , I was just wondering if i would be able to play FM15 on my Mac if I was airplane mode are if I bought a game on Steam , would I have to be logged in to play it ?

If the game is fully up to date, you can go into offline mode and play offline.

Alright mate cheers in there anyway someone could give me a step by step of insuring FM15 is up to date and how to enable offline mode thanks :)

For making sure Football Manager 2015 is up to date, just launch the game and if there are any necessary updates, it will automatically download and install them. Also, if you view your library in "List" view, it will show "Ready to Play'.

To use offline mode, simply open the Steam client, click "Steam" and then "Go offline".
