Gyazo scams? :)
Hey i just woundered something, If someone you trust and knows send a gyazo link like: gyazo.com/(some random numbers) is it scam if i press the link and i actually see the picture the guy send me?? :) I mean, lets say i press a scam link, does it even say "gyazo" and does i get to see the picture? :) or is the link legit if i see picture :D sorry for stupid question, just a good thing to know in the future :D

In the actual steam client chat you can't hide the real URL, as in you can't do this[scammersite.com]. As long as the site is a legitimate one then it should be fine, be wary of any pictures though because certain formats can contain malicious code.

So basically, even if the person sends a legit gyazo pic, the picture it self can be the "scam"? do i have to downloade it manually for it to be a problem or does it downloade something by it self if i press the link? :)

Well technically .JPG files can actually have malicious things within them, it's extremely rare though. If you know the person or trust them then a ligitimate link like that is fine, usually a phisher or similar will need you to run something in order for them to get your details (usually in the form of a picture.png.scr as the .scr filetype is a screensaver and executes code).

So if it's someone you trust then it is fine, always be cautious though :)
