Didn't get the steam year of service badge.

I've been a member of steam for a year but no badge.. Here is how I found out when I joiend steam: https://steamdb.info/calculator/76561198151484798/?cc=us. Well, It said that I made my account on Augest 24, 2015 or 12 months ago, so what gives? Is it also by the time as well? I just want my badge

It goes by time too, not just the date. I remember seeing my badge update.

Your badges page said you got the Adept Accumulator badge on August 24th, 2014, 3:34pm, and right now it's 3:10pm.
The time on that badge is always when you got your first game, and that's less than half an hour away. Do you remember if you bought your first game immediately after you created your account? Because you still might have a little less than half an hour to wait.

The first game I bought was GMOD. And that was in december of last year.

It can take time for badges to update on accounts that are not very active.

Well, I'm on steam every day. So I would say my account is active.

Yes but your 1 year is only today, wait a few days for the badge to update. It takes even longer on accounts that are not used every day.

I'm certain mine updated at the exact minute, though.
My game collector badge and my years of service badge both have the same exact time on them, so maybe yours will be the same way. We'll see in ten more minutes.

EDIT - Looks like I was wrong, bummer.
EDIT AGAIN - You have the badge now. Hooray!
