Steam Cloud? What is it? Uses iCloud?

I set my preferences to use Steam Cloud, but I'm finding that while my library says it is being stored locally, my iCloud account is using almost 20 gigs of space for MW3 downloads and I'm running out of space on my apple account. Is there a way to set the library to another cloud, or cause Steam to use another area for downloads.

I have 2 macs that are authorized, btw... a laptop and my desktop. My progress in the game does not really sync between the two accounts on steam for weapons and unlocks.

It has nothing to do with iCloud at all. It's a totally separate system that works on Steam servers and stores your save data, screenshots, etc. so that they will work on other computers. "Cloud" is a general term that means storage on offsite servers.

Most likely because CoD stores, stuff in some user folder iCloud includes.

hey I had to upload the mods to my icloud on here how do I get them off they are causing Farming Simulator 2017 to have a mod conflict and is messing with my games I tried to detele the mods off the game and now I don't know how to get in the cloud to get rid of the mods that are stuck in there

Ask in the Apple forum how to delete stuff from iCloud.
