Tera, Disk write error

Getting a disk write error have checked other posts no solution yet.
I am getting this error. "[2015-08-23 15:55:24] AppID 323370 update canceled : Failed to move staging folder D:\Steam\steamapps\downloading/323370 (Disk write failure)"

I have attempted to take remove the Read only attribute to my steam folder. (a fix I read in another thread) but the folder always returns to read only. Also there is a Tera file within my common folder that shows to be 160gbs. But its only a white icon, with the file type of "file".

Would greatly appreciate more ideas as this is a rather large file to download to not be able to play it lol.

(SOLUTION) - The white odd 160gb file was throwing the game installation off. Remove the file and re launch game. Problem fixed.

Download a S.M.A.R.T. tool, like CrystalDiskInfo or another tool.
Do a diagnostic check on your harddrive.

If *ANYTHING* is yellow or red inside the S.M.A.R.T. tool, you should replace your harddrive as soon as possible.
Disk Write Errors are telltale symptoms that your hardware are beginning to fail.

Solution found. I removed the white tera file from the common folder and it ran fine LMAO :P
