Please guys, i cant find the folder, i have no appdata folder at all, ive checked my steam folder, steamapps, i cant see any htmlcache folder, i did however find this: http://prntscr.com/8qg5zt is this the correct folder i need to be deleting? it looks like this inside: http://prntscr.com/8qg6ld pleaseh help coz DNS unlocker is attacking everything, i managed to delete it from chrome, if anyone needs to know how its easy, first delete chrome browsing data, everything, then go to network and sharing centre, click on "change adapter settings" and right click on whatever it is your connected to abd hit properties, then scroll right to the bottom and you should see internet protocol version 4, left click it and then left click the properties tab on it and make sure both are set to "obtain IP automatically" if the 2nd one (like mine) is set to another address, thats DNS unlocker doing its dirty work and rerouting your browsers to their DNS. Hope that helps clear chrome or whatever but I need help to clear steam. please help thanks.

On Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10 C:\Users\%windows user login%\AppData\Local\Steam\htmlcache\
On XP C:\Documents and Settings\%windows user login%\AppData\Local\Steam\htmlcache\

before it was here %Steam root folder%\config\htmlcache\

i cant find windows user login at all, when i click users it has 2 files, 1 with my name and one called public, neither have an appdata folder inside.
Start menu > Run > %localappdata%
omg thank you! Now do i just completely delete this folder?
Delete the \Steam\htmlcache\ folder while Steam isn't running.
i tried to delete and it said it cant delete it coz its still running in another program, i had nothing opened, i'll try and totally log out of steam and hopefully it works
Thank you to everyonr for their help, it was succesful and no more DNSunlocker, thank you guys, for anyone else running windows 8.1 use the "run" program and type %localappdata% click the steam folder and completely delete that htmlcache folder, remember tho, exit steam completely by clciking the steam button t the top left of your steam home page and selecting "exit" then delete the htmlcache folder, works a treat, thanks guys.

Bro, thank you so much. This ♥♥♥♥ tried asking me to run a javascript to delete system32. I was scared out of my mind, but you helped me. The only problem i have is that it still has infected my Google Chrome. I have used tons of antivirus and malware softwares and they fail to remove it from chrome. Anyone have any ideas? Is there an html for google chrome i can remove?

Yes Plenty of times. Fortunately when i reset my browser settings it disappeared! But I fear it might not be gone for long and come back tomorrow, because this has happened with previous malware.
